Tom Stokes relives a campaign spent in pursuit of what he describes as the best carp he’s ever fished for. Residing in a seemingly forgotten, intimate, weed-choked and snag-ridden lake were a small number of incredible fish, and he just had to catch. This was his first ever big carp campaign and what a way to start his journey into a life that eventually consumed him.
