You might remember Lac Soupir from Elliott’s early BrexCYP adventure, but since then the lakes undergone some huge changes including a lodge and now even actual swims! Jane, Jim’s wife wanted to catch a PB and she likes her creature comforts so the van was loaded and away the headed for a nice week away in France! The fishing was far from easy but this isn’t a complex where you come to catch loads in a place where you come for quality carp in a lovely environment. Jane managed to beat her PB with a mirror of 31-pounds and in classic Shelley style Jim lands plenty of big carp to over 50-pounds that we don’t think has ever been out the lake!
