A return to the busy big pit saw him in action, banking a 35-pounder that has featured on Sharp End before, but in Scott Maslen’s arms. We met Nige and Kate at Lodge Lake, a venue he describes a slice of heaven, to discuss the what’s he’s been catching, and how he’s done it, with the icing on the cake being the lake’s largest mirror, a fish that Nige didn’t even know existed!
